What's New in Crashlands 2 Version 1.1?
Crashlands 2 receives its first major update today as Butterscotch Shenanigans delivers Version 1.1. This substantial patch introduces fan-requested features from the original game alongside exciting new challenges for players.
Legend Mode Arrives
For hardcore players, Legend Mode significantly raises the difficulty above Challenge Mode. Woanope's enemies now move faster, deal heavier damage, and boast enhanced health pools, while protagonist Flux Dabes becomes even more vulnerable.
While completing Legend Mode doesn't grant additional achievements, players automatically unlock all lower-difficulty rewards upon conquering this ultimate challenge.
Explorer Mode for Casual Players
At the opposite end of the spectrum, Explorer Mode allows peaceful gameplay focused on farming, construction, and fishing without combat pressure. This relaxed setting lets players fully enjoy the story, decorate their bases, and interact with the game's quirky characters without survival concerns.
The Compendium Returns
Responding to player feedback, version 1.1 reintroduces the beloved Compendium system. This comprehensive tracker records every discovery Flux makes, including the remaining pets, recipes, and collectibles needed for completion.
Enhanced Pet System
Pets receive significant upgrades in this update, actively participating in battles with unique special abilities that recharge every 20 seconds. This addition deepens combat strategy and pet utility.
Expanded Crafting Options
Crafting receives richer depth with randomized bonus stats appearing on crafted armor. The update also introduces numerous new gadgets, weapons, and trinkets to enhance gameplay variety.
Quality of Life Improvements
- Expanded building terrain options
- Customizable home teleporter placement
- Adjustable nighttime lighting levels
Available now on Google Play Store, Crashlands 2 demonstrates the developers' commitment to player feedback with this significant April 10 post-launch update.
