Following the mobile release of Coromon, the acclaimed monster-collecting game from TRAGsoft, a roguelite spin-off is on the horizon. Coromon: Rogue Planet (Free), slated for release next year, will be available on Steam, Switch, iOS, and Android. This new title seamlessly integrates the turn-based combat of its predecessor with addictive roguelite mechanics, promising endless replayability. The Steam page highlights key features: 10 dynamically generated biomes, 7 unique playable characters, over 130 monsters, and much more. Check out the official announcement trailer below:
The original Coromon is a free-to-play mobile title. It will be interesting to see how Coromon: Rogue Planet performs on mobile and whether its release coincides with the Steam and Switch versions. You can add Coromon: Rogue Planet to your Steam wishlist here. While I haven't played Coromon recently, Coromon: Rogue Planet's gameplay sounds incredibly engaging. Based on the Steam screenshots, it seems perfectly suited for short bursts of play. In the meantime, you can download the original Coromon for free on iOS here.
