Clash of Clans, an iconic piece of mobile gaming history, is about to undergo a significant transformation that will change how players engage with the game. Supercell is set to completely eliminate troop training times, allowing you to deploy your army almost instantly and dive into battles quicker than ever before. This overhaul comes on the heels of the removal of training costs back in 2022, marking a continued effort to modernize the game and enhance player experience.
Starting today, Training Potions and Training Treats will no longer be available through in-app purchases or chest rewards. However, you can still acquire them from the Trader and Gold Pass for the time being. It's crucial to use them before the end of the month, as they will be converted to Gems thereafter. This change signals a shift in how resources are managed within the game.
To help players adapt to this new dynamic, Supercell is introducing a feature called "Match Anytime." This mechanic allows you to attack a snapshot of another player's base when no real-time opponents are available. You'll still earn rewards, but importantly, players whose bases are used won't lose anything if defeated. This system, already in use for Clan Wars and Legend League attacks, will now be a standard feature.
Alongside these major changes, keep an eye out for additional updates, such as Army Donations now requiring Elixirs or Dark Elixirs. For a comprehensive overview of these changes and more, be sure to visit the Supercell blog.
