Ndemic Creations, the studio behind the hit game Plague Inc., is releasing a new game called After Inc. This game shifts the focus from spreading disease to rebuilding civilization after the devastating Necroa Virus, the most challenging scenario in Plague Inc., has transformed the world's population into zombies.
In After Inc, players take on the role of survivors tasked with rebuilding society from scratch. This involves managing resources, balancing the needs of the population, and making difficult choices to ensure survival against both natural disasters and the ever-present threat of the undead. Players will face dilemmas such as choosing between democratic and authoritarian rule, and even deciding the fate of canine companions.
A World Reforged
After Inc's premise is inherently captivating. Given Ndemic's proven track record with Plague Inc. and its expansions, this new title offers a fascinating exploration of the aftermath of a global pandemic.
While a release date hasn't been officially announced, a 2024 release seems likely. Pre-registration is currently open for iOS and Android devices.
