Sony Pictures has officially announced the release date for Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc, set to hit US theaters on October 29, 2025. This exciting news was shared during Sony's CinemaCon presentation, where they revealed they had secured worldwide theatrical rights, excluding Japan, to bring Tatsuki Fujimoto's acclaimed work to the big screen this fall. Fans in the US can mark their calendars for a late October premiere, while over 80 other countries will see the film released on September 24, 2025. In Japan, Toho will handle the release starting September 19, 2025.

The Chainsaw Man movie was announced in December 2023 and serves as a direct sequel to the MAPPA-produced anime series that debuted in 2022. The story follows Denji, a young man who gains a new lease on life after forming a pact with a devil dog named Pochita. This partnership grants Denji the ability to transform parts of his body into chainsaws, propelling him on a journey to become more than just the Chainsaw Man.
Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc will introduce fans to a significant new character, Reze, who is a major figure from the original manga. The film is directed by Tatsuya Yoshihara and written by Hiroshi Seko. The entire voice cast from the anime series will return to reprise their roles, ensuring continuity and excitement for fans.
