Gamescom Latam 2024 Crowns "What the Car?" Best Mobile Game
Gamescom Latam, the inaugural gaming event held in Sao Paulo, Brazil, successfully showcased Latin America's burgeoning gaming scene and celebrated global industry achievements. A highlight was the game awards, presented in partnership with the BIG Festival. A panel of 49 judges selected finalists across 13 categories, all playable on the show floor, demonstrating a welcome integration of mobile and PC titles.
The "Best Mobile Game" award went to Triband ApS's "What the Car?", a title previously featured in an article highlighting lesser-known gems. This win underscores the game's quality and growing recognition.
While "What the Car?" took home the top prize, the other nominated mobile games also deserve recognition for their high-quality experiences:
