Season 2's Zombies content is headlined by a brand-new map, The Tomb. Set in a dig site in Avalon, players are tasked with uncovering the Sentinel Artifact and opening "a door to nowhere." The map features catacombs and a Dark Aether Nexus, challenging players to survive against zombies, Amalgams, and a new enemy type, the Shock Mimic. This electrifying foe, similar to the Mimic from Black Ops Cold War and MWZ, can cloud Operators' vision and radar.
To combat these threats, players can wield the returning Staff of Ice from Origins in Black Ops II, and the War Machine grenade launcher as a new Support weapon. The returning perk, Death Perception, will also be available, along with three new Gobblegums:
