Originally a 2022 BOOOM Gamejam entry by Team Woll, this project's positive reception led to its full development. Currently available on Steam for PC, the game is slated for release on Android and other platforms soon. While the Google Play Store listing isn't live yet, you can pre-register on the official TapTap page for the Android version.
Gameplay:
Cato: Buttered Cat is a puzzle platformer where you control both a cat and a slice of buttered toast. Work together to solve puzzles, overcome obstacles, and explore five whimsical worlds boasting over 200 levels, including side quests. Uncover a hidden narrative woven throughout the gameplay, and unlock 30 different outfits for your feline friend.
The cat's agility and the toast's projectile properties create exciting gameplay mechanics. Use the toast's flight to help the cat reach otherwise inaccessible areas. Discover hidden rooms and Easter eggs throughout your adventure!
