Botany Manor Announces New PS5 Release Date

Botany Manor's PlayStation Debut Finally Set for January 28th

Initially slated for a December 17th, 2024 release, the PlayStation versions of the critically acclaimed puzzler Botany Manor have been delayed, but a new launch date has been confirmed: January 28th, 2025. This applies to both PS4 and PS5 consoles.

Developed by Balloon Studios and published by Whitethorn Games, Botany Manor charmed players on Nintendo Switch, Xbox, and PC upon its April 2024 release. The delay, announced shortly before the original December launch, was attributed to the developers' commitment to delivering the best possible player experience.

While the new release date is set, a PlayStation Store page for the game is still absent. Players eager to add it to their wishlists will need to wait a little longer. The game is expected to retail at $24.99, consistent with its pricing on other platforms, and will remain a one-time purchase without microtransactions. The digital soundtrack, available separately on Steam, is unlikely to be offered on the PlayStation Store.

Botany Manor Enhances PlayStation's Puzzle Game Lineup

Botany Manor earned widespread praise upon its initial release, boasting a strong "Strong" rating on OpenCritic (83/100, 92% recommendation). Its charming atmosphere, inventive puzzles, and rewarding exploration have solidified its reputation as a top-tier puzzler of 2024. Its arrival on PlayStation will undoubtedly enrich the platform's already impressive collection of puzzle games.

With its PlayStation launch, Botany Manor will finally be available on all initially announced platforms. Balloon Studios has yet to announce their next project. January 28th, 2025 will also see the release of other titles on the PlayStation Store, including Cuisineer, Eternal Strands, and The Son of Madness.
