Edward "Eddie" Richtoften, a beloved character from the series, notably featured in Call of Duty: Cold War, is set to make a return in this Black Ops 6 remake. Fans have quickly identified the setting as the Mansion from Liberty Falls, dated February 1991, which aligns perfectly with the narrative from the previous map, The Tomb, suggesting a seamless continuation of the storyline.
One of the most intriguing aspects of this new map is the absence of Amalgam enemies. Treyarch confirmed this on their Instagram account in response to a fan's comment about facing "the wrath of 20 amalgams on this map too," with a simple "Nope." Amalgams, known for their high HP and powerful attacks, are typically Elite class enemies. Their exclusion from this map promises a potentially smoother gameplay experience for players navigating the Mansion.
