Honkai: Star Rail Version 2.7: "A New Venture on the Eighth Dawn" Arrives December 4th!
Honkai: Star Rail's Version 2.7 update, titled "A New Venture on the Eighth Dawn," launches on mobile devices December 4th, concluding the Penacony storyline before the Astral Express journeys to the enigmatic Amphoreus.
Final Preparations in Penacony
Version 2.7 wraps up the Penacony arc. Following Black Swan's suggestion, the crew prepares for their departure to Amphoreus, a land shrouded in mystery. While Miss Himeko gathers intelligence, the crew bids farewell to Penacony, reconnecting with old friends and sharing poignant moments culminating in a spectacular Grand Theater performance. This performance introduces two new characters: Sunday and Fugue.
Sunday, the former head of the Oak Family, aided by the mischievous Pepeshi, Wonweek, delivers a dazzling final act, fitting for the "Planet of Festivities." As a 5-star Imaginary character, his Ultimate ability focuses on energy regeneration, bestowing the "Beatified" buff upon a teammate and their summon.
Fugue, also known as Tingyun, makes her return after the harrowing events of Version 1.2. Having narrowly escaped death, she owes her survival to Madam Ruan Mei of the Genius Society. Fugue is a 5-star Fire character whose Ultimate ability decimates enemy Toughness while dealing substantial Fire DMG.

New Features and Returning Characters
Version 2.7's warp events feature the return of popular characters: General Jing Yuan (first half) and Firefly (second half).
A brand-new addition to the Astral Express is the Party Car—a luxurious marble bar complete with a robotic bartender and a breathtaking cosmic backdrop.
The "Cosmic Home Décor Guide" event lets players transform a storage room into their personalized dream space. Using Express Funds earned through various tasks, players can collect furniture and design cozy areas, including a bedroom and bathroom.
