There's more news from today's QuakeCon stream: Update 2 for Doom: The Dark Ages is now live, introducing free new content, numerous bug fixes, and quality-of-life improvements. This update encourages players to continue battling Hell's forces in the new Ripatorium mode—an endless arena with customizable waves and timed challenges.
Play Doom: The Dark Ages before September 2 to receive two free character skins. Additionally, complete the three new Ripatorium arenas to unlock the Perfection Doom Slayer skin.
In our review, we gave Doom: The Dark Ages an Amazing 9/10, stating: "While Doom: The Dark Ages moves away from the mobility-focused gameplay of Doom Eternal, it introduces a heavy, impactful combat style that feels fresh for the series and remains deeply satisfying." The game attracted three million players within its first week.
