Batman: A Ranking of the Caped Crusader's Finest

Once upon a time, DC's Batman enjoyed a seemingly constant stream of new video games. The Dark Knight reigned supreme, and Rocksteady's acclaimed series arguably revolutionized the superhero game genre, a legacy felt even today.

Lately, however, Batman's video game presence has dwindled. A proper solo Batman adventure hasn't graced our screens since 2017's The Enemy Within, and there's no immediate indication of that changing. Though comic fans anticipate several upcoming superhero titles, those eager to don the cowl will need to delve into the past to discover the truly exceptional Batman games.

He appeared in Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, though Rocksteady's offering isn't strictly a Batman-centric title. The Arkhamverse, however, received a new VR installment.
