Bam Margera, a former professional skateboarder and central figure in the Jackass film and TV franchise, has faced years of public struggles with alcohol and substance abuse, including multiple rehab stays. Margera was let go from Jackass Forever and later faced a restraining order from director Jeff Tremaine after alleged threats were made toward Tremaine and his family.
The recent release of a video showing Hawk and Margera skateboarding together sparked early rumors that Margera might return to the game.
Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3+4, announced earlier this month, is set to launch on July 11, 2025, across PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox One and Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC. The game is being developed by Iron Galaxy and has overcome significant setbacks, including being scrapped after Activision merged Vicarious Visions with Blizzard.
