Ash of Gods: The Way retains the core gameplay of its predecessors, but adds exciting new features. Build decks from four distinct factions, each boasting unique warriors, gear, and spells. Compete in diverse tournaments featuring unique enemies, battlefields, and rule sets. With two decks, five factions, and a staggering thirty-two possible endings, replayability is guaranteed.
Story and Characters
Players assume the role of Finn, leading a three-person crew into enemy territory to participate in war game tournaments. The game seamlessly blends tactical combat with richly detailed, voice-acted visual novel sections. Engaging dialogue and dynamic character interactions are a significant highlight, bringing the story to life.
Gameplay and Progression
Unlock and upgrade four distinct deck types: Berkanan, Bandit, the defensively-oriented Frisian, and the aggressive Gellian deck. Experiment freely; there are no penalties for changing upgrades or factions. While character choices and relationships drive the narrative, the focus is less on plot twists and more on impactful decisions.
