How to Complete All Arata Stages in GHOUL://RE
After extensive testing and trial, we've cracked the code to unlock **all three Arata stages** in *GHOUL://RE*. While these stages aren't necessarily challenging in terms of skill, they do require **significant Reputation grinding**—and we mean a lot!
Arata Stage 1 in GHOUL://RE
To kick things off, you'll need to amass **25,000 Reputation** points and reach the highest rank of **Special Investigator** within the C.C.G. organization. Head over to the **Commission of Counter Ghoul** (C.C.G. center) and locate **Damiro D. Mado** on the second floor. He's the NPC with headphones, and he'll task you with collecting **10 one-eyed fragments** and **10 Kokuja fragments**.

The quickest way to gather these fragments is by defeating bosses, specifically **Eto and Tatara**, and then crafting them at a work table. If you need to check your Reputation, talk to **Saiyo Natsuki**, the NPC in a black suit and tie. Once you have **all 20 fragments**, combine them into **five one-eyed Kokuja fragments** at the crafting station. If you struggle with bosses, our *GHOUL://RE* Boss and Raid guide will help you dominate.

Return to **Damiro**, and he'll instruct you to find "him". This caused confusion in the *GHOUL://RE* community, but "he" turns out to be the **Black Reaper of Doom And Despair**, hiding in plain sight. For more on this, check our guide on **NPC locations in *GHOUL://RE***.
Arata Stage 2 in GHOUL://RE
For **Arata stages 2 and 3**, you must switch to **permadeath (PD) mode** to unlock the legendary armor. It's wise to team up with reliable allies, as solo missions can be frustrating.
After accumulating **100,000 Reputation points**, head to the elevator in the C.C.G. building and descend to **the Laboratory**. Find **Black Reaper of Doom And Despair**, the man with a scalpel in a black suit by the door.

Hand over five one-eyed Kokuja fragments and your 100,000 Reputation to complete **Stage 2 of Arata-Proto armor**. Despite rumors suggesting lower amounts, our experience confirms that **100,000 Reputation points** are necessary for guaranteed success. Remember, play these stages on **PD servers only** to avoid repeated rejections from the Black Reaper.

The final stage also involves **Black Reaper of Doom And Despair**, more fragments, and a significant amount of currency. Continue in **PD mode** to pursue the epic armor.
Gather a **single one-eyed Kakuja fragment** and **500,000 Yen**. Visit **Black Reaper of Doom And Despair** again at the C.C.G. building. Upon paying him, he will teleport you to face **Kishou Arima boss**.

Defeating Kishou Arima requires at least average gaming skills, involving plenty of jumping, dodging, blocking, and high damage output. While challenging, even players with moderate skills can conquer him with practice. Be well-prepared with resources, as repeated attempts will cost an **additional one-eyed Kakuja fragment** and **500,000 Yen** each time.
Upon defeating Kishou Arima, you'll unlock **Stage 3 Arata-Proto armor**. However, be mindful that while Arata offers powerful buffs, it also has significant drawbacks.
Arata Armor Tips & Tricks
**Arata-Proto Armor Buffs**
The Arata armor is incredibly powerful but comes with a downside: it **drains your hunger** at an alarming rate, and you cannot eat while wearing it across all stages. To replenish hunger, you must **remove the armor**.
However, the armor's advantages are substantial. Notably, **you can't be ragdolled** while wearing Arata, which is a significant advantage in all game scenarios. Additionally, Arata enhances your equipment, making you **increasingly "tanky"** and capable of withstanding and dealing substantial damage. If your hunger depletes during combat, the armor will start consuming your **health bar**. Be cautious in boss fights, and remember you can take it off to heal when necessary.

**Reputation Grinding**
The fastest way to earn the required **Reputation** is by fighting bosses in **PD mode**. Although risky, each boss defeated in PD mode yields **1,500 Reputation**, far more than the **500** earned outside PD. Killing Ghouls only grants **100 Reputation** per kill, making them less efficient for grinding during Arata quests.
Congratulations, you now have the knowledge to tackle all Arata stages in *GHOUL://RE*. Before you start your journey, don't forget to grab the latest *GHOUL://RE* codes to give yourself a head start!
