Dive into the competitive action of Marvel Rivals, a thrilling 6v6 hero shooter! While the matchmaking system generally delivers solid pairings, nothing beats teaming up with friends. Here's how to add them to your roster.
Adding Friends in Marvel Rivals
Important Note: Currently, Marvel Rivals doesn't support cross-progression or cross-play. This means you can only add friends on the same platform. However, the developers have confirmed this feature is in the works, so stay tuned!
Upon launching the game, locate the friend icon (it usually resembles a person's silhouette) in the top corner, near your player profile. Clicking it reveals a list of recently played players—simply select a player to add them to your friends list.
Alternatively, use the search bar to enter a friend's username. Press Enter, and then add them from the search results. Once they accept, they'll appear in your friends list.
How to Play With Friends
With your friends list populated, it's time for some team action! Click the friends list icon (again, usually a person's silhouette) in the top right corner. Find the friend you want to play with, select their username, and send an invite. You'll then be able to queue together for Quick Play or Competitive matches.
For console players, friends added at the system level should automatically appear in your Marvel Rivals friends list, streamlining the process of inviting and playing together.
