Tired of encountering the same words again and again? Annoyed by searching for obscure, non-English terms? Struggled with grids that don't fit your screen or are hard to read? Word Search Ultimate solves all these issues.

You have full control to configure:

1. Grid Size

Precisely set the number of columns and rows, from 3 to 20. You can even create non-square grids (like 12x15).

2. Game Difficulty

Set the approximate percentage of words placed diagonally, backwards, or vertically (e.g., prohibit diagonal or backward words).

3. Word Difficulty

Select the dictionary size for each game, ranging from the 500 most common words (ideal for language learners) up to 80,000 words.

4. Maximum Number of Words

Choose how many words to find per game, from 1 to 150—enough to fill even a 20x20 grid.

5. Minimum & Maximum Word Length

Avoid cluttering your search with too many short words (a frequent issue in word games). Also perfect for creating extreme challenges (e.g., setting both minimum and maximum length to three letters).

6. Highlighting

Mark words you've already found, or keep the grid clean and unmarked for optimal readability.

7. Word List Layout

Arrange the word list in columns or have it spread evenly across your screen.

8. Language
