How To Study a Historical Display in The Sims 4 Blast From the Past Event

Author : Adam Update:Feb 17,2025

Week 2 of The Sims 4's Blast from the Past event presents a puzzling challenge: studying a Historical Display. This guide clarifies the process and addresses common issues.

A museum in The Sims 4 showcasing a Historical Display.

Locating a Historical Display:

The Week 2 quest requires interaction with a Historical Display, encompassing both paintings and sculptures found in museums. Utilize the in-game map to locate a museum (indicated by a pillar icon). The Municipal Museum in Willow Creek and The Future's Past in Oasis Springs are conveniently located near other event tasks.

Studying the Display:

Upon entering a museum, select a painting or sculpture. Clicking it will present a "View" option. Selecting "View" completes the quest, indicated by the appearance of the Emit icon.

Troubleshooting Common Issues:

Many players report difficulties with the "View" option, often attributed to mods. If encountering this problem, temporarily disabling mods might resolve the issue. If the problem persists, attempting to interact with multiple displays across different museums may be necessary. Hopefully, EA will address this bug soon.
