Marvel Rivals Season 1 unleashes new characters, maps, and game modes, including a fresh set of challenges rewarding players with free items, such as a Thor skin. This guide focuses on completing the Recursive Destruction challenge in Empire of Eternal Night: Midtown.
What is Recursive Destruction?
The "Blood Moon Over the Big Apple" challenge introduces Recursive Destruction. This occurs when destroying a Dracula-influenced object, causing it to reappear in its original state. Not all objects qualify; identifying the correct ones is key.
Locating Destructible Objects
To find eligible objects, utilize Chrono Vision (keyboard "B" or console right D-pad). Only red-highlighted objects trigger Recursive Destruction.
Completing the Recursive Destruction Challenge
This challenge requires playing Quick Match (Midtown). Initially, no red-highlighted objects appear. Wait for the first checkpoint; two buildings will then become available to trigger Recursive Destruction.
Strategically destroy these buildings amidst the combat. You might not always see the objects reappear immediately due to the fast-paced gameplay, but multiple hits should suffice. If unsuccessful, replay the match. After completing this, focus on subsequent challenges involving Mister Fantastic and Invisible Woman.
