Nintendo has announced the pricing for upgrading select Switch games to the Switch 2 edition. Titles like Kirby and the Forgotten Land and Super Mario Party Jamboree will cost more than the previous $9.99 price tag for Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom. UK prices are listed at £16.99 / €19.99, significantly higher than the original upgrade fee.
Physical Games: Game-Key Cards
Almost all third-party physical Switch 2 games in Japan are Game-Key Cards, and this trend seems to be following suit in the West. In the US, notable examples include Sonic X Shadow Generations and Yakuze 0: Director’s Cut.
